Aromatic blend crafted specifically for homemade cured Kaizer-style pastrami (Bulgarian pastrami). Made with high-quality ground sweet red pepper and ground fenugreek (chimen), this mix delivers authentic Balkan taste in every bite.
- Ingredients: Sweet red pepper, fenugreek.
- Allergens: May contain traces of gluten, mustard, and celery.
- Storage: Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
- Usage Instructions: Salt and shape 1–2 kg of meat. Mix contents of packet with 20g crushed garlic and a little water or white wine to create a thick paste. Spread it over the meat surface. Hang to dry fully.
Serving Suggestion: Lentils with Kaizer Pastrami
Ingredients: 500g Pastrami, 300–400g lentils, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 2 peppers (fresh or dried), 3–4 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp flour, 1 tsp savory herb, 1 tsp red pepper, 1 tbsp red pepper (Bioset).
Preparation: Soak lentils for a few hours, then discard water. Refill with cold water and boil. Slice pastrami and soak in cold water to reduce salt. Replace water and boil again. In a pan, sauté chopped onion in oil, add red pepper and flour, dilute with pastrami broth, and pour into lentils. Add chopped peppers, carrot, and pastrami. Season with savory and black pepper and simmer 5 more minutes.
Important: Do not cook pastrami together with lentils from the beginning – its saltiness may prevent the lentils from softening.
